What do you want to achieve by implementing the project? What are the objectives of your project? Please specify from the perspective of youth work practice.

The project is a comprehensive initiative designed to equip youth with fewer opportunities, particularly those from Roma communities and NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) backgrounds, with the necessary skills and knowledge for successful integration into adult life and the workforce. The primary aim of this project is to address the gap in opportunities and resources that these young individuals face, providing them with the tools and confidence to navigate their future careers and personal development.

Central to this project is the implementation of a double youth exchange program. This program is structured to foster an environment of learning and exchange, where participants can gain a multitude of skills vital for their employability and personal growth. One of the key objectives is to enhance presentation and interpersonal skills, which are crucial in almost every professional setting. These skills not only improve a young person's ability to communicate effectively but also build confidence and foster a sense of self-assurance that is essential in the job market.

In addition to communication skills, the project places a significant emphasis on practical job readiness. This includes preparation for job interviews and assistance in creating impactful CVs. Such training is aimed at demystifying the job application process, making it more accessible and less daunting for youth who often lack guidance in these areas. By equipping participants with these skills, the project seeks to increase their chances of securing employment and succeeding in their chosen career paths.

Recognizing the importance of digital literacy in the modern world, the project also includes training in various digital tools that have become ubiquitous in both educational and professional environments. Participants will gain proficiency in using platforms like Google Suite and Canva, as well as explore the potential of Large Language Models (LLM) tools. This aspect of the program is not just about teaching technical skills; it is about ensuring that these young individuals are not left behind in an increasingly digitalized world. It fosters digital inclusion and ensures that participants are well-prepared to engage with modern technologies that are prevalent in many workplaces.

Furthermore, this project is not just about skill acquisition; it's about creating a supportive community for these youth, where they can share experiences, learn from each other, and build networks that could support their future endeavors. This holistic approach is vital in youth work practice, as it considers not just the educational or skill-building aspect, but also the social and emotional wellbeing of the participants.
